The team at Hill Patru are currently working on a new build end of terrace 3 bed, 5 person house, to be used as 100% social housing in Enfield. The house is knitted into its surrounding fabric of North London Victorian terraces, with the design being an act of continuity, adopting familiar characteristics, motifs and building lines of the two adjacent terrace houses. The scheme is split between three levels, lowering the house 2m below street level for architectural coherence with the neighbouring property. The plan has been developed to house the large kitchen / dining area at the lowest level with access to a private rear garden space, which also can be accessed from the side of the property. The scheme also houses a front garden and terrace at upper ground level, providing additional privacy at the front of the property.
