Extension to St. Margaret's Parish Church, Burnage to provide a large multi-purpose hall, classrooms anda foyer space which is also used for meetings, activities and as a further classroom. There is a large kitchen with serveries to the foyer and hall and WCs and utility spaces. The extension forms the new entrance to the worship areas with a landscaped courtyard and an entrance hall. The original church is a traditional stone "Victorian Gothic" building. The alterations and extensions are contrasting but complementary to respect the style of the original. The design provides a distinctive building, making the most of the budget.
