A new poolside pavilion and walled courtyard, near Glastonbury enhance a Somerset swimming pool which was renovated to provide a beautiful environment for outdoor freshwater swimming. We provided full architectural services to see this project through from inception to completion. We unlocked the potential of an existing run-down indoor pool in the clients’ garden and obtained planning approval for its transformation into a beautifully landscaped swimmers’ paradise. A large entertaining space seamlessly flows outside through wide sliding glazed doors. Extended eaves around the building cover an external dining area and integrated barbecue facilities in addition to providing solar shading to the building.
