Full house refurbishment of a large detached 1930s house with a generous rear extension for an open plan kitchen and dining space connecting to a beautiful mature garden. The project is being upgraded to Passivhaus principles including excellent air tightness, triple glazing and a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) system. The key 1930s features have been retained and updated with a simple contemporary feel, including the re-use of the decorative glazing within new triple glazed windows.
