HMY are working with Kent College in Canterbury to build a new Great Hall building, to act as the new focal point of the campus and provide professional quality music and theatre facilities as well as a central hall for assembly and chapel services. The new hall will be able to accommodate up to 600 seated but also adapt to smaller (350) audiences for music and drama performances. The building will provide a foyer and gallery space, back of house accommodation including green rooms, scene dock, toilets and stores. Anticipated completion is Summer 2019.
