Conversion of an utterly derelict timber framed barn to domestic use. Sensitivity was required in the internal and external treatment in order to preserve the character of the original, and to obtain the necessary approvals. From the road the barn appears almost unaltered. The internal layout is contrived to take advantage of the old door openings with a double height Hall space. The scheme received a Celebration of Excellence award from the Stratford on Avon District Council 1999.
