Following a previous successful project to create a Cancer Treatment Facility, Harper Sperring were appointed to refurbish and extend the existing Facility in 2008. As Lead Consultant, we assisted the Trust and the Charity funding the works, develop their brief. The works (undertaken in 2010) entailed a partial internal stip-out and re-fit of the area and adjoining vacant areas (formerly a Pharmacy)to provide increased treatment areas, and in turn patient care. Harper Sperring were also appointed to create an interior colour scheme which provided several relaxing areas for patients before, during and after their treatment, whilst meeting the needs of the Trust's medical requirements.
