Located in Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands, this 1930's semi detached house needed to be fully refurbished and reconfigured to make it work for the owners and their growing family. By adding a new ground floor extension at the back of the house, the family now has space to cook, eat and relax together, whilst having greater access to the garden. The new opening plan ground floor now contains kitchen, dining and snug with separate utility. The separate formal lounge accommodation was also retained. Harper Architects were involved from inception until completion including site supervision onsite during construction.
