About the practice

Hardcastle Architects is an architectural practice located in Hackney, East London. The principal is Matthew Hardcastle who has been running the practice for more than 10 years. Matthew is a member of the RIBA and has been registered as an Architect with the ARB since 1998. We work on all type of projects including domestic residential, refurbishments, and new build. We are a small practice which enables Matthew to work consistently and day-to-day on all of the projects. For domestic projects we can provide the design, drawings and approvals if the homeowner is happy to deal with the building contractors directly, and can also provide site services as required. We carry professional indemnity insurance, and provide references.
