Tasked with designing a new marketing suite for Bruntwood SciTech's esteemed clientele at Alderley Park in Cheshire, our objective was clear: to craft a space where potential tenants of office and laboratory spaces could both relax and engage in formal negotiations. Alderley Park's commercial team stressed the need for a suite reflecting their professional and oersonal approach, whilst leaving a lasting positive impression on the brand. The suite aimed to convey the quality of available office and laboratory spaces to diverse prospective customers visiting Alderley Park, including those exploring areas under construction. To accommodate site visits, a designated area for storing PPE—hard hats, boots, and high-vis jackets—was incorporated. Digital capabilities were integrated for displaying CGIs, 2D virtual tours, and video conferencing. Hidden storage and integrated display solutions for hard copy marketing materials were also considered. The existing layout featured four-sided glazing, with tension wire bracing, evoking a dated and visually cluttered environment. Our challenge was to transform this open, exposed space into a destination that felt intimate, comfortable, and private, resonating with the distinctive personality of the Alderley Park brand.
