Derwent London appointed us to look at the refurbishment of a number of rental residential units of an apartment building in Rathbone Place. The brief asked for a fit-out concept to be replicated thought-out all the units and to be implemented sequentially at the end of each tenancy. The furnishing selection was part of the brief. Fit out and furnishing have been considered together so to achieve a coherent concept and an atmosphere for the interior of the flats. Attention was given to design solutions that minimize maintenance, improve access for repair work to services. The lighting strategy was completely reconsidered so to achieve a more user friendly lighting scheme and an enhanced experience for the tenants.
