GT3 Architecture have a long-standing interest in residential schemes having worked on a number of innovative projects both as masterplanners and architects and on occasions in collaboration with other architects. We have consciously eschewed the market which we believe exerts disproportionate control on residential demand and supply and whose standard designs do not always meet the real needs of occupiers. Instead, we have sought out residential providers who understand local market conditions and believe in creating sustainable communities where the quality of the place directly influences the quality of life. Cathedral Court is situated on Cathedral Road in Derby opposite Queen’s Leisure Centre and offers the latest in premium student accommodation for more than 350 students. The premium en-suite and adapted rooms has three-quarter sized beds, large kitchens and social spaces with televisions and sofas. The location also gives students easy access to the city centre while still being near the University Quarter. The University of Derby’s Student Living service - Derby Student Residences Limited (DSRL) - opened a brand new hall of residence in September 2016.
