This was the complete refurbishment of an existing 3 bed semi-detached 1930's house. A new first floor extension above the original garage maximises the footprint while retaining and adding character to the frontages, to create an extended 3rd bedroom, a new family bathroom, a wet room to the master bedroom and a new single bedroom. A new rooflight on the raked ceiling throws light into the first floor landing which contains a bookrack in place of the staircase balustrade. Inside, the fresh white interior is a canvas for colourful accessories. Outside, is the Patio with the garden on two higher levels featuring gabion retaining walls. The roof over the new extension is sloped to emphasise its semi-detached end with a less obvious higher roof for functionality.
