Work had already begun on this 6-bed property when Gruhe was initially approached for the design of a new porch. This led to a much larger commission for a two-storey extension, building within the existing internal courtyard to the side of the property at the frontage to create a music room on the ground floor and bedroom suites above. At the rear, a large new games room was designed within a new basement looking over the low level garden via a full width glazed opening. A smart glazed corridor was designed to link the house with the basement. The project was completed on site in 2023.
