Grey Griffiths Architects has achieved planning consent for a new build house in the green belt on the edge of Surrey and West Sussex. The new house is envisaged as a low-impact dwelling that sits sympathetically in its semi-rural green belt location. The house will provide 4 bedrooms and living space that addresses the garden setting in a single storey barn-like timber building. Envisaged as a Cross-Laminated timber structure manufactured off-site, the house incorporates a bat roost to help preserve the existing ecological value of the site.
