The owners of this property in Sevenoaks in Kent are a family. A husband, wife and two daughters. The daughters go to school in the area. They are connected with the community in the area. They bought the property and asked us to work on it. The building is grade 2 listed. Aspects of the barn date back 500 years. The house came with 69 acres. More than they envisaged but the house is where they wanted to live. The main house dates from 1816. We created a modern addition that links the barn with the main house. Within it is located the kitchen with views of the landscape. The barn was remodelled to provide a main family living space. The main house was remodelled as was both the internal swimming pool and spa area and the external swimming pool. The landscape of the internal courtyard was redesigned.
