We were asked to provide an extension to a 1960’s terrace house in Ponteland, Northumberland. We designed a contemporary timber clad single storey extension and traditional two storey side extension with a fresh interior design. The extension houses an open plan kitchen living diner with views across the garden. We have bathed the extension in natural light with large sliding doors and skylights. The flooring continues out as a decking, creating a wonderful connection to the garden.
