The site was a former Doctor's Surgery occupying a corner plot in Southwark, London. The new building is 5 storeys in height with a 6th storey set- back penthouse apartment and roof garden. The building contains 9 new apartments as well as on site provision for Refuse and Cycle storage. The building is designed to achieve Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes and includes highly insulated facades and roofs and air source heating. The building falls within the Flood Zone and the design includes a raised floor level and emergency evacuation zones set a first floor level.
