Although this rectory had been extended around twenty years ago, very little maintenance had been carried out for a long period before that. We initially undertook an overall feasibility scheme, which resulted in a plan for three phases of works. The initial phase comprised refurbishing and upgrading the annex to provide temporary accommodation. The second phase comprised remodeling and extending the main house and carrying out extensive repair works. These included replacing decaying stone and leadwork, complete re-roofing and brick re-pointing, as well as renewing all the services. This phase has now been completed.
