We started with opening up the kitchen to an existing rear extension that was heavily remodelled. Walls were taken out, the ceiling lifted to the underside of the roof & the first floor supported on a stainless steel column. Additional glazing added facing the garden. The second project was to raise the roof [replaced by a green sedum roof] on a dining area. More glazing added facing the garden. The third project was a loft conversion to create an additional bedroom & bathroom. The design called for crisp zinc detailing, careful rebuilding of brickwork & a staircase mixing new & old. We are now on our fourth project! A library & workshop in the garden.
