This historic Grade II listed house overlooking the Thames at Twickenham had previously been occupied as two residential units with a third in the former coach house at the end of the walled garden to the rear. The property also enjoys a private riverside garden with pontoon mooring. Working closely with Interior designer Emma Sims Hilditch, GHK Architects have sensitively restored the house as a single private residence with every modern convenience. Removal of the service stair and rationalization of floor levels allowed the layout of the house to be modified to suit modern lifestyles. A large conservatory was added to the kitchen to provide a family dining area opening onto the walled garden.
