Located in London’s Marylebone the site is an entire slice of an urban block. The principle property at Nottingham Place backs onto a mews house on Bingham Place. Between the main volumes are roof terraces, lightwells and out buildings. This study explores how additional volume can be added to optimise value without compromising the existing properties and adjoining neighbours. The site is also within a conservation area. Our proposals therefore consider its context and impact on townscape.
