We’ve signed off a new highly efficient timber frame private dwelling that achieves ‘Passivhaus’ regulations through the use of high levels of insulation, a ground source heat pump in combination with a whole house heat recovery system as well as Solar Hot Water & P.V. Panels. The final air-test for the property achieved a test performance of 0.35, which results in an average annual running cost for the property at less than £1 per day.
