George’s client adviser and management role was based in the Chief Engineer’s Group working for lead consultant Atkins and specialist designers Grimshaw/Maynard/GIA Equation for Crossrail’s Head of Architecture. The role included: • business planning and fee negotiations; • structuring and reviewing design information; • cost, quality and programme monitoring; • sponsor engagement and coordination; • supporting Crossrail’s assurance process; • Papers on the role: https://learninglegacy.crossrail.co.uk/article-author/george-stowell/ Crossrail is Europe's biggest infrastructure project with a budget of £18 billion. From a planned date in 2021, the 110km route will provide a seamless rail service across London.
