New Build
Gaunt Francis won the national architectural competition for the British Homes Awards ’House of the Future'; to design a zero carbon house aimed at the volume house building market. Our winning design includes a blend of modern technology and well-proven design principles to resolve some of the issues of modern living in more sustainable fashion without compromising quality of life. The design is highly flexible to allow occupiers to make it their own home, whilst ensuring good quality space within the compact site plan requirements of the competition brief. The Code 6 House is now built at the Building Research Establishment’s site as a show home, and BRE monitoring of its' construction and performance has helped inform the Government's 'Code for Sustainable Homes' agenda
