The refurbishment and re-organisation of a Victorian terraced house in Oxford. One of the main project aims was to revitalise a poorly lit and underused lower ground floor. We achieved this by cutting a void through the floor of the front room, introducing a new staircase and enabling a double height library space. This connects through to a living and dining area defined by new French windows to the garden, creating a light filled, dual aspect space.
