The Museum of Monastic Life explores the museum as a complex, where the heritage site and collection is experienced in synergy with the cultural landscape. This way the story of the monks’ daily life are told where it happened and through experiences in nature. Galmstrup Architects developed the masterplan and concept design for this listed heritage site through a designed process with key stakeholders informing the design. We developed the feasibility study and concept deign alongside the visitor experience and operation plan. “Galmstrup have an ability to see museums potential in modern society, and an extraordinary ability to run processes getting stakeholders working together towards common goals." Lene Høst-Madsen, Director Museum Skanderborg
