Great Suffolk Street was recently rated one of London’s best streets in Time Out magazine. Signal Works is perfectly positioned to build on this increasingly popular area. The site was originally intended to be developed as a new-build high spec office building. However, following planning approval, a potential pre-let for the existing building resulted in an alternative development strategy. A further planning application was therefore submitted to remove the existing mansard roof and construct two new floors of contemporary office space. This scheme is now complete and includes a full refurbishment of the whole building with bespoke fit-out to end user requirements. The existing facades have been given a facelift with painted brickwork, new fenestration and projecting corten reveals. The corten detailing is continued throughout with new entrance, chamfered reveals to the new ribbon window, gates and signage.
