Frank Shaw Associates developed this scheme with Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust as part of the East London LIFT. The scheme is a new style multi-agency health and well being centre, within a culturally diverse urban community. It includes a high proportion of generic space and its configuration is highly legible enabling good accessibility and encouraging community involvement. The design integrates a number of sustainability factors that are aimed at reducing running costs and the cost of maintaining the building in the future. Newby Place has been designed to achieve BREEAM Very Good.
