Formwork converted this derelict former care home into modern five bedroom family house with a large open-plan family room, gym, home office, utility, and TV room. The works included a basement extension and large rear extension to add an additional 2,000 sq. ft. to the property, and the complete refurbishment of the property to restore the existing structure and historic features of the house. A feature metal staircase was designed for the new family room alongside a new high-specification kitchen, with large rooflights providing natural daylight throughout the new spaces. The basement extension included a rear lightwell with stepped patios to transition up to garden level.
