FFA were appointed to design a completely new retail experience at one of the UK’s largest independent pen retailers on the High Street in Shrewsbury. Our brief was to produce a concept design for the interior remodel and re-fresh of the existing retail space to improve the accessibility (steps and level changes throughout restricted access for all), help define customer flow (so during busy periods both the sales desk and pen testing area could function independently), provide space for new range of displays, and introduce new finishes and lighting through contemporary but sympathetic interventions, and enhancing any historic character features.
