Practice

Floyd Slaski Architects Ltd

39-43 Putney High Street , London , SW15 1SP , United Kingdom

The project involves the replacement of the existing MRI scanner and reconfiguration of the ancillary spaces within the project demise including the MRI access corridor, technical room, control room and office. An additional area has been assigned to the MRI Replacement area to create a Cannulation Room, Consent room and Waiting Room. The scheme has been designed to take into consideration a future phase 2 project which will incorporate a 2nd MRI scanner in the location of the existing CT scanner room. Floyd Slaski was instructed to prepare outline designs for the whole two MRI room department, so that the first phase can be built in the knowledge that the outline future layout is agreed in principle. This will include a shared control room serving both MRI rooms.
