Quotient Limited are wishing to locate to Edinburgh Technopole. Bush Research Park to form a new consolidated bioscience research and production facility for their existing business. The vacant plot identified forms part of an area zoned for development within the overall estate master plan of 123 acres. The 19,020m² site is currently open grassland. As part of the two-phased development, the facility will provide a gross floor area of 6,270m² over two storeys incorporating research, office, laboratory and production facilities with associated car parking and servicing. Phase 1 will involve the construction of the production and laboratory elements and Phase 2 the office, research and further laboratory facilities. As part of the detail design stage, a full BREEAM assessment is to be undertaken with a target rating of Very Good to Excellent being the strategic aim of the client.
