Situated on the site of the former Scotstoun Flour Mill adjacent to Dunaskin Street and the River Kelvin, the proposals for the site are for 504 bed spaces of student accommodation. These will be split over five separate blocks with Blocks 1 to 4 incorporating studios and cluster flats being aimed at undergraduates and Block 5 consisting of both studios and studio apartments being aimed at post-graduates. The scheme will also include a management suite, social lounges and a laundry as well as public realm external works that will create a pedestrian link through the site to the river. The 38m high tower is to be preserved as an anchor for the scheme and a stair core will be incorporated into it. A new pedestrian street is being created to connect Dunaskin Street to the river through an urban plaza, which offers the potential to complete a section of the River Kelvin Walkway master plan.
