Westminster
The United Kingdom Supreme Court was created by the Constitutional Reform Act to replace the Law Lords Appellate Committee in the Palace of Westminster. Feilden+Mawson were appointed as architects and technical advisors to implement the renovation of Middlesex Guildhall on Parliament Square as the United Kingdom Supreme Court and also to house the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. The scheme includes a grand library, courtrooms, private chambers for justices and advocates, offices, a public cafe, an exhibtion space and bespoke artwork and furniture throughout the building.
