The project lies within the Portman Estate conservation area and has been refurbished to provide approximately 7700 sqft of high spec office space with a bespoke reception area. The building presents modern, open plan office floors designed to the latest standards which will be open for viewing to let. The project and its bespoke interior represents the Portman Estate’s sustained efforts to provide modern, functional architecture in Central London, and to pursue a vision for the Estate, Marylebone and the surrounding areas. In collaboration with the renowned artists of Timorous Beasties, a highly bespoke interior has been created for parts of the building, which ties a link back to the history of the area and the Estate itself, who occupied the property for over 60 years prior to its current refurbishment. The intention was, by using the abstract motif of the plane tree in the bespoke artwork for the reception area, to create a connection between the refurbished building and the historic Portman Square nearby.
