The development offers state-of-the-art facilities for the European headquarters of Illumina, a world leader in Genomic Analysis and Diagnostics. The first phase of two of the three wings are connected by bridge links and a Winter Garden providing a heart to the building, promoting employee collaboration and spontaneous synergies with movement through the spaces. The splayed wings of the building provide an outlook framing the views over the extensively landscaped site. Long-term flexibility is a key design objective with the potential for open office space to be converted to specialist laboratories in the future.
