Feilden+Mawson have designed the laboratory working areas, office accommodation, circulation and communal areas. This required regular and frequent liaison with the Users, providing clear professional advice, guidance, expertise and experience resulting in a bespoke design that fully meets the demanding needs of such a complex project. The project is now on site and Feilden+Mawson have provided detailed designs with full fixture and fitting layouts for every part of the building, as part of the tendering process. Upon the award of contract Feilden+Mawson was required to engage with the contractor’s design team as Technical Advisors and have provided ongoing guidance and clarification around design issues, leading the design process in many instances.
