The masterplan establishes a clear organisational diagram and unites the fragmented estate. New learning opportunities are provided through an activated and enriched landscape in the form of growing gardens such as allotments, orchards, a wild flower meadow, demonstration copse and arboretum. The central quad will be opened to the southern views over the valley and towards Salisbury Plain and connections are formed by a timber cloister and larch canopy. This revitalised heart of the school will provide social space, a performance area, increased seating and external dining. We are now undertaking Phase 1 of the delivery, which includes the Applied Learning Centre, a new canopy and an all weather pitch. The school have used this masterplan to demonstrate their clear vision for the future and it has been a powerful tool in seeking funding for these projects.
