Working for Vermont Construction Limited, we were engaged to design a studio apartment scheme for post-graduate students at Salford University. Sitting on a vibrant street directly adjacent to the central university campus, the scheme helps to create a safer environment for students as well as helping to make the environment more attractive. A shared central south facing garden space provides a place to meet, overlooked by shared communal spaces such as the gym and lounge. The client, was keen to ensure that the building was robust, attractive and fully costed prior to submission.
