The scheme, designed for X1 Development and Vermont Construction, sees the construction of five residential buildings ranging from 10 through to 20 storey buildings with a total of 750 apartments, with a mix of studio, one, two and three-bed units. The first phase of the development on Pomona Island forms part of the wider Masterplan by Peel Holdings and initiates the regeneration of the former docklands site connecting Trafford to Manchester. The overall site has been identified as a new destination for business, residential and leisure by the local authority, Trafford Council.
