EXPEDITE have been employed as Architects and Project Managers for the redevelopment of a brownfield site in Plymouth city centre. The proposal is for a new mixed-use 13-17 storey building comprising of 253 mixed-unit student bed spaces with associated support facilities, offices and retail units. The scheme received Planning approval from the City Council in 2016 The building addresses both the historic and modern grids of Plymouth City Centre and creates a landmark building that joins the two. The design has been developed in full consultation with the Local Planning Authority and meets their vision to reinforce the City Centre as a vibrant regional destination with a 24 hour experience within its boundaries.
