Egrotechnics was appointed in 2021 to a multidisciplinary team delivering the vital new Wixams Station in Bedfordshire. Our comprehensive architectural scope encompasses station buildings, platforms, bridges, extensive public realm and landscape design for this 19 hectare site. The sustainable transport hub features cycle facilities, parking, and multimodal interchange connectivity. Construction is underway, with recent Universal Studios development announcement triggering expansion from two to four platforms with enhanced amenities. This critical infrastructure project will serve the emerging Wixams settlement while accommodating significant anticipated visitor numbers to the region's forthcoming entertainment destination.
