We are currently working within Ealing Borough Council to develop a detailed planning application for the regeneration of the Honey Monster Factory site. The site is a significant site within the area which site adjacent to Catalyst’s land holdings Havelock Estate (Southall Village) and Toplocks. Our masterplan for the former industrial site, designated as a Local Strategic Industrial Site (LSIS), provides a significant opportunity to contribute towards to the wider regeneration of Southall East and surrounding areas, providing new employment opportunities and much need housing in a highly sustainable town centre location. At approximately 6 hectares in size the site, occupied by cereal maker Quaker Oats until 2016, is located within close proximity to Southall Town centre and its railway station, which will become a Crossrail station in 2019. Our masterplan creates a vision for a truly mixed-use environment where work and industry, living and play all come together providing a variety of complementary uses, supported by a high quality and well connected public realm.
