We have recently been granted planning approval for Quayside Lodge located at Imperial Park on the edge of the river Thames in Fulham. Our design consists of flexible office space on the ground floor and 110 new homes on the upper floors. The building massing responds to the existing and emerging context stepping down to respect the scale of the adjacent buildings creating generous terraces with views over the Thames towards central London. The linear character of the massing is enhanced with a horizontal layering of materials using a primary band of light coloured stone and the secondary layer with vertical profile bronze metal panels between the windows and recessed balconies which add depth to the elevations.
