Shawford Railway Station is an award-winning railway heritage regeneration project delivered by EP Architects in Hampshire. The scheme transformed a vacant former railway ticket office, unused for over 45 years, into a vibrant community café, kitchen and business hub. EP Architects provided architectural design, heritage advice, stakeholder engagement, planning coordination and technical delivery, working closely with rail stakeholders and local community groups. The project demonstrates how regenerative design and low-carbon retrofit can revitalise historic railway infrastructure while delivering long-term social, economic and environmental value.
