Elbourn Architects worked with Hightown Housing Association to create key worker properties in the heart of Tring Conservation Area. The site included a pair of early Victorian villas and a Victorian stable building in a bad state of repair. There were also several protected trees and a wide variety of building styles surrounding this steeply sloping site. We created a variety of units some within the retained and refurbished buildings and some new build homes. All properties were designed to meet rigorous housing association standards and be in keeping with this highly sensitive site.
