Edward Architecture secured planning permission for 41 sustainable workpods on a vacant site beside the Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster. The proposed buildings provide flexible open-plan office space over 2 floors. Each eco-pod strives to achieve a BREEAM ‘very good’ rating through passive solar design solutions which integrate natural ventlation, and the use of rainwater harvesting and recycling. Construction is due to start in 2015.
