Edward Architecture secured planning permission for a major regeneration scheme for Gleeson Homes and Regeneration adjacent to the ‘City of Manchester Stadium’ comprising 15,000 sq ft of replacement local shops and 295 dwellings. All dwellings were designed to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes level 3 rating, incorporate renewable energies and are in accordance with Mancheter’s Mobility and Lifetime Homes regulations document DFA2. The commercial element is designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. The scheme incorporates renewable energies and is in accordance with Manchester’s Mobility regulations; DFA2.
