The front element of the house is a effectively a standalone apartment/studio to accommodate the daughter’s carer and the rear of the house is the true heart of the home, with views over the garden ensuring privacy and a sense of sanctuary. Every room in the house is filled with natural light, with either rooflights, full height glazing or views into sunken courtyards filled with native tress and shrubs to ensure that even the basement is connected to the therapeutic value of nature.
